Metroidvania takes to the skies.
A mysterious floating city, estranged father figure and sword-wielding combat are but three of the features that seem to run throughout Vernal Edge — the pixel art Metroidvania soon to come to Switch — and this level of mystery has certainly piqued our interest.
Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, publisher PID Games has taken to Twitter to announce that Hello Penguin's sword-slashing family drama would be coming soon to Switch. The announcement also saw the reveal of a console trailer which shows the game's mechanics in action.
